Find an NC Vision provider location in North Carolina. Currently there are over 95 NC vision providers in North Carolina in all major markets and growing.

4. How does a practice know that I am a member?

When making an appointment let the practice staff know you are a NC Vision member. Bring your membership card to any approved NC Vision eye care provider. If you forget your card, not to worry we can validate your membership at any NC Vision Office.

5. How do I qualify for NC Vision?

Enroll at ncvision.com and bring a copy of your NC Vision membership card. All you need to qualify is to be a North Carolina resident. Approved providers in North Carolina have agreed to honor the discounts offered to NC Vision members.

1. What qualifies an optometrist to be an NC Vision provider?

NC Vision providers must be in practice for a minimum of five years and have operated in good standing with the American Optometric Association and the NC Optometric Society.

2. How does a North Carolina Optometry practice become a provider?

Email us and a NC Vision representative will contact you to review your practice and ensure you meet the NC Vision Provider specifications.

3. Do NC Vision providers offer discounts beyond what is offered by the plan?

That is at the sole discretion of any NC vision provider.

4. What if an NC Vision provider refuses to provide the discounts?

1. How is NC Vision different from an insurance plan?

NC vision is not insurance and does not operate as an insurance company. NC Vision operates as a membership organization for NC residents who do not have vision insurance or eye care coverage and serves to provide discounts on examinations, eyewear and contact lenses. The discounts are immediately applicable and there is no wait period, deductibles or monthly premiums to pay. NC Vision is free to sign up and receive discounts.

2. Can I use NC Vision with my insurance?

If you already have vision insurance, then your vision discounts with NC Vision cannot be applied. However many vision insurance limit you to one pair and NC Vision can offer excellent saving on second or back up pairs of glasses or sunglasses.

3. Does NC Vision work with Medicare or Medicaid

No, it does not if you choose to use your Medicare or Medicaid benefits for your vision care.

4. If my company does not offer vision insurance benefits, can they provide group benefits with NC Vision?

Yes. Your company can sign up with NC Vision and then all employees are eligible for greater savings and discounts with NC Vision verses an individual. See if your company is a member.
